Competition Format
- Teams are divided into two divisions of eight teams.
- Each team will play each of the other teams in their division over the first seven weeks.
- Teams will earn 4 points for a win, 2 for a draw, 1 for a defeat, and none for a forfeit.
- In week 8 the top four in each division will contest the Cup semi-finals (1st vs. 4th & 2nd vs. 3rd) and the bottom four will contest the Plate semi-finals (5th vs. 8th & 6th vs. 7th).
- The semi-final winners will contest the Cup and Plate finals in week 9 while the losers play-off for their final positions.
Rules
- Matches will be played according to FIT rules (video summary).
- 40-minute matches with 20 minutes per half and 5 minutes for half-time.
- Mixed gender 6-a-side teams with a maximum of four male players on the field at any time.
- Teams unable to field at least two female players will have to play with fewer than six players.
- Teams are permitted up to 14 players in their squad for a game and may make unlimited substitutions.
- The minimum age for players is 13.
